Assistance with Pre-qualification Exercises
In order to demonstrate compliance with legislation, such as the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, those appointing contractors and designers to undertake work require organisations to demonstrate that they have the necessary Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Training (SKET) to carry out their work in a safe manner. An assessment of the contractors processes, procedures, insurance and training etc should be done before they are awarded contracts or are included on to supplier lists. Many of these organisations use a recognised Contractor Accreditation Scheme to meet their legal responsibilities in assessing competence.
Many clients use a recognised Contractor Accreditation Scheme to satisfy their legal responsibilities in assessing competence. Gaining accreditation with these schemes can take a considerable amount of time and effort. Eurosafe (CDM Services) have experience with many companies from different sectors, assisting them to meet the requirements of such schemes.
We can work with you to develop your systems, policies and procedures to ensure they meet legal requirements and therefore the criteria of the individual schemes. Alternatively it may be that your systems and procedures are already to acceptable standards and you just require assistance in completing the necessary application forms.
The individual schemes that operate have different criteria and Eurosafe (CDM Services) understanding of such criteria can speed up the process to obtain accreditation earlier. If during the process we notice that there are identified weaknesses in your procedures and policies we will contact you to advise you with a proposed solution.
Should you need to provide annual updates to maintain your accreditation then Eurosafe (CDM Services) can remind you, audit your return to ensure you still comply and present the return in due time.
