We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join our team working on a large number of contracts in a variety of sectors including retail, leisure/entertainment and social housing.

The successful candidate will be home based and willing to travel predominantly around the Midlands, Northern Home Counties and London. The role will require periodic visits to the Head Office in York.

Applicants must possess a recognised Fire Safety Qualification such as FPA, FIA or NEBOSH fire risk assessment courses supplemented by other CPD and should have at least 5 years of experience in conducting fire risk assessments in retail, leisure and social housing sectors. Excellent communication skills are essential with a good working knowledge of legislation and practical application within various premises.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate initiative and motivation to work in an autonomous role with excellent time management, high levels of literacy and written communication skills. Excellent verbal communication skills are required and the ability to plan and organise workloads in order to meet time frames for service delivery.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday

The salary is negotiable according to experience
